Embrace your creativity and imagination this weekend by checking out some of the events below. Halloween is coming up so head over to the zoo for some Halloween fun, stop by the street market to find costume ideas, and travel to a different world at Nevermore Park.


Spooky Zoo

If you’re looking for something fun to do for Halloween, make sure you head over to the Lincoln Park Zoo this weekend. This annual free event is a safe alternative to trick-or-treating and provides entertainment for the whole family. It coincides with the five-weekend fall festival hosted at the Zoo so stick around for the Ferris Wheel rides, corn maze, and pumpkin carvers.


Randolph Street Market

Check out the Randolph Street Street market this weekend for great vintage finds, local designers, and anything holiday related (find your perfect costume here!) . It will be set up indoors and will feature food and drinks as well.


Nevermore Park

Whether you’re familiar with Flyboy or not, be sure to support the local Chicago artist Hebru Brantley and his exciting Nevermore Park. It is an immersive 6,000sq foot art experience based in a fictional neighborhood. You can walk, touch, and explore Brantley’s imagination steeped with history and storytelling.
